Work toward 100 percent completion in stages: gain the traversal abilities, revisit blocked routes, complete the Arcana objectives, and check the map and collection categories before the final ending. Reaching the credits alone is not a full completion check, and 100% is not the same objective as earning every trophy.
There is no verified percentage formula here. In particular, the treatment of edition-exclusive bonus Relics is not established, so this guide does not tell you to purchase an edition upgrade to clear the completion counter.
Use separate checks for separate goals
| Goal | What you need to track |
|---|---|
| In-game full completion | The displayed completion progress and the remaining exploration and collection work |
| Arcana completion | Cards, Works of Mercy, and unlocked Blessings |
| Equipment collection | Weapons and Relics found throughout the world |
| Character upgrades | Health, mana, and other stat upgrades |
| Exploration records | Unvisited routes, clues, and Mirrors of Life |
| Ending set | Bad, normal, and true endings as separate outcomes |
| Full trophy set | Collection objectives plus the other listed trophy conditions |
A run can satisfy one row without completing the others. For example, the timed-finish trophy is not proof that your exploration is complete. Likewise, every discovered map room does not automatically mean every Arcana has its Blessings unlocked.
Pass one: gain the tools that reopen the map
Continue the main progression while marking obstacles you cannot yet solve. The important movement unlocks include the Arcane Whip, Holy Light, Smash, Aerial Rush, and Double Jump. They solve different problems, so give your marks useful descriptions.
| Obstacle you notice | Tool or investigation to revisit it with |
|---|---|
| Luminous anchors over a gap | Arcane Whip |
| A barrier associated with holy light | Holy Light |
| Objects with golden cracks | Smash |
| A wide airborne gap | Aerial Rush |
| A ledge above ordinary jump height | Double Jump or another valid route |
| The Notre-Dame painting route | Artist progression and Paintbrush |
This is a way to organize return trips, not a promise that every obstacle of one shape has the same solution. Nearby anchors, enemies, and wall-jump surfaces can also form a route.

Gain the movement tools before a systematic return trip.
Double Jump is a useful milestone for cleanup because it gives access to more high ledges. Do not spend the entire opening trying to force every marked platform before the later movement kit is available.
Pass two: clear nearby collection routes together
Once you have the tools, revisit one region at a time. Review the map, collect reachable equipment and upgrades, and finish any newly accessible clue routes before leaving for the next region.
A useful loop is:
- Start from a Mirror of Life near the remaining marks.
- Check each blocked route against your current abilities.
- Follow hidden passages and complete their platforming sections.
- Record the actual pickup rather than marking only the room as visited.
- Return to the map and identify the next nearby unresolved route.

Hidden entrances can remain inside rooms you have already crossed.
The fountain investigation in the cemetery illustrates why this matters: a room that appears familiar can contain an entrance that only becomes clear after reading its clues. Clearing the visible corridor is not the same as understanding every route connected to it.
Check weapons and Relics independently
A weapon chest and a Relic are different inventory checks. Track what you actually obtained, then compare the remaining routes with the equipment you are missing. Do not count a visually opened area as a completed pickup if you have not collected the reward.
The game's weapons span seven categories. Finding one weapon in each category is a smaller objective than finding every weapon. The trophy set reflects that distinction, so avoid stopping your collection checklist as soon as every fighting style is represented.
Relics can also require exploration beyond the main route. Their names and effects should come from the items you can verify rather than guessed rewards behind unexplored doors. An edition bonus is a separate acquisition route and should be kept separate from the world-collection checklist until its counter behavior is confirmed.
Finish the Arcana progression
Obtaining a boss's card is not the final step for that card. Read its Works of Mercy and complete the specified actions, then unlock the available Blessings. A task can ask for a particular spell, special attack, or weapon condition, so confirm the wording before spending time repeating an unrelated move.
The full trophy requirements explicitly include all Blessings for every Arcana. Keep that checklist distinct from the list of defeated bosses. An Arcana can be owned while its objectives remain unfinished.
Some cards and investigations involve optional routes. If you are pursuing full completion, a route that is unnecessary for an initial story finish can still matter to your remaining checklist.
Audit upgrades, clues, and mirrors
Health and mana upgrades deserve their own pass because a few missing pieces can be easy to overlook while searching for weapons. Check other stat upgrades as well instead of assuming every collectible contributes to the same meter.
Clues and Mirrors of Life are also separate collection targets in the trophy list. Reading enough clues to find a boss does not necessarily mean you found every clue. Passing through a region does not prove you activated every mirror there.

Clear nearby routes together and track what remains missing.
Use the map to organize this pass, but record the category still missing. A note saying “one upgrade route unresolved” gives you a clearer next step than “region nearly complete.”
Treat the true ending as its own checkpoint
The game has bad, normal, and true ending outcomes. A normal finish can leave additional work before the true ending. Do not assume the credits close your completion checklist or that the fastest route to an ending is the route to every collectible.
This page does not provide a complete, independently verified ending-trigger recipe. Finish the remaining card investigations and objectives, then check the actual ending result rather than inferring it solely from a high map percentage.
Diagnose the final missing progress
If progress remains incomplete, check your records in this order: unresolved route marks, missing equipment, stat-upgrade pieces, unfinished card objectives, clues, mirrors, and the ending result. Return to the categories with a concrete gap rather than traversing the whole game again without a target.
The available material supports those completion categories, but not exact percentage weights, a guaranteed no-miss route, or a promise that every item remains accessible after every ending. Keep the plan grounded in the current save and the progress the game actually displays.
